All about Emma!

Favorite food: Mom's milk
Favorite thing to look at: Our big clock
Second favorite thing to look at: Light fixtures
Third favorite thing to look at: Dad
Favorite ways to be comforted: the elevator lift, bounced up and down, swaddled tight, or breastfeeding
Favorite things to do: Eat, be in the swing, stare at things or people, listen to the vacuum, go for walks, have conversations with people.
Favorite time of day: Afternoons
Worst time of day: Evenings (usually lasting until 12:30 or 1!)
Favorite people: Mom, Dad, Grandma, anyone who will talk to or play with me.

Social smile: Mom claims 2 weeks, Dad things it was about 6 weeks. Likely somewhere between the two.
First time going to a restaurant: 1 week old. Really? What was mom thinking? But I slept the whole time.
First outing: To the doctor the day after coming home from the hospital.
Cooing back in conversations: 5 weeks
Taking a bottle: Still working on it..
Sleeping for at least 4 hours at night: In week 1 sometime!
First bath at home: 5 days old
Longest conversation: Seemed like ten minutes yesterday with mom.
Longest sleep: almost 7 hours!
Nicknames: Sweets, little bug, munchkin, one-eyed Kate, Kissing Kate, lumpy, snoozie Q

Emma's Pictures

Emma had her pictures done on Monday by my favorite Oregon Aunt and Uncle, Jer and Laren Woolley. Here are my favorites. I'll also post the other pictures we've taken. I think we've taken more pictures in the 3 weeks Emma has been around than we've taken since our honeymoon. Enjoy!







These pictures aren't nearly as elegant and they include the pictures from the hospital. It's fun to see how much she is already growing up. I think she's looking less and less like me as she grows.
